📌Hello! My name is Kytri. I've been doing webcomics for longer than is sensible and my current one is called Crypts and Cantrips. It is a mostly character driven queer little fantasy adventure story.

I mean, I listen to a fair amount of my podcasts via youtube at this point. Like the video is there and I'll glance over occasionally but I'd still describe it as listening if polled about it.

I can only speak for my own experience with Cancel Me, Daddy but since we launched on YouTube 7 months ago, we've doubled our average per episode audience.
The YouTube algorithm (and to a lesser extent the Spotify algorithm bonus for video) are the best ways for new listeners to find a podcast.

Thinking about it, the thing I get most excited about is little asides for jokes or somewhat frivolous worldbuilding. Things that don't really matter too much but they add tone or texture to a scene.
Also longer dialogue back and forths, which will probably contain little jokes and asides.

Hi! Here's one of the cutest things I own! Pic quality isn't great since it kinda washes out the colors (which are nice and bright!) but this is pretty darn solid. The stand is a very snug fit, but that sucker ain't comin' loose any time soon.
