The Fall-Winter 2025 legislative session is a full assault on municipalities, schools, pedestrians, cyclists, local democracy, and accountability.
Everything Ford does is to consolidate power, this sucks
There’s much chatter about Ford changing local government structure. What does it mean for Waterloo Region?

I have some lovely neighbours; delicious chips were just dropped off at my door. (I've heard that sprains heal faster with snacks). 🧡

Good first day back at work, a little therapy before bed. I think I'll live.

I love that I have a friend that knows I'm serious when I say, "why don't we nap for awhile", and then we do. 😴

The last few days of my week, a triptych.

1. Nothing is broken
2. A step zapped itself out of my way when I wasn't looking (that's my story and I'm sticking to it).
3. I've had to cancel my dance recital, sorry.

🇵🇸 Catalunya coach Gerard López and #Palestine coach Ihab Abu Jazar met yesterday to exchange jerseys at the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona.

On the ground, many white shirts: a tribute to the more than 400 Palestinian football figures killed by Israel.

Four decades back a major label released a debut album that sounded like almost nothing on earth while still sounding incredibly familiar. Our man in San Francisco Ned Raggett takes stock of it all

Happy Birthday to the JAMC's Psychocandy, which turns 40 today!

Today's tree break is grateful for the sun, & still smiling from this morning's moment of joy at Toronto City Hall. The raising of the Palestinian flag may be largely symbolic, but it represents a shift in if not opinion, then acceptance from our government. A small step, but an important one. ✊🇵🇸🧡🌳☀️

This tree break is for anyone who's struggling, anyone that needs a moment to just breathe; I hope today brings you a moment (however brief), of peace. 🧡🌳🫂
