Started new Pilot, opened with three pages of VO, remembered my Manager HATES VO so I said, lemme preempt his note and try a dif way in and FRACK I HATE that he's always right 😂 It instantly made the opening so much better. Trust your people.

One day I'll tell you about our cancelled show that told the story of Americas' first Black Millionaire, 60 years before Madame CJ Walker was born. A story erased back then so as to not empower or inspire anyone of color... and the same story erased (again) last year... for the same reasons.

So idk, I'm gonna always speak out and fight for what's right, while working as hard as I can, but looking around... shit is getting real hard. Just know you're not alone. There are many of us here, terrified, hoping for the best even tho we're seeing the worst unfold, and the worst keep winning.
