This afternoon, #LACoFD FFs responded to a commercial building fire on S. Garfield Ave. & Santa Clara St. in #BellGardens.

FFs remain on scene for mop-up operations. There were no reported injuries & the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Another CERT Training Completed ✔️

Congratulations to 44 California Water Service personnel who completed our 20-hour CERT class in the City of Commerce.

They trained in fire suppression, light search & rescue, triage, & teamwork.

Today marks the 24th anniversary of Patriot Day we gathered as a community to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Hosted by the LAFD, LACoFD Fire Chief Morrone joined a host of LA City and LA County officials and other dignitaries for the 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony.

We shall never forget.
