Last weekend, Ladybird founders Lisa & Janine, and foster homes/volunteers Nadia & Esther, attended a

Babs & Larry are available for adoption!
They have a condition called Cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) which affects their balance.
CH cats can live long, happy lives. They just need adjustments to their environment to keep them safe.

Jane Goodall was an immense influence on the founders of Ladybird. She paved the way for so many to become a voice for animals, and she continued to be that powerful voice right up until her last day on the earth she so fiercely fought for.

Professor Weaselton came into a shelter as a “stray” and was not claimed by his owner. He’s missing most of his fur and he’s painfully thin. We got him out of the shelter and in for a vet visit. We hope to get him healthy again soon.

Put in a box & dumped in a wooded area in Quebec. Found, brought to a shelter. Rescued from the shelter & transported to Ontario by volunteers. Now safe, vet checked & spoiled in our care.
Triscuit has been through the biscuit, but it’s nothing but love from here!

Bonnie has been back & forth to the vet over the last few days & ended up at emergency early this morning. She’s a bit more stable now, but she’ll be heading to her regular vet for observation today.

Kimchi the mouse was found as a “stray” and brought to a Quebec shelter. We got him out of the shelter and into a foster home in Ontario thanks to amazing transport volunteers.
Kimchi will be available for adoption after a vet visit.

Brie’s surgery was a success! The vets at OVC were able to remove the baseball size tumour from Brie’s bladder, and it has been sent out for testing. We hope this will be the last surgery she will need. 🤞
