Had my sketchbook still in my backpack from going to bingo last week. Decided to color an older sketch of my OC using her ability (although in a more dramatic posing.)

Haven't been drawing much, so I pulled out an old unfinished doodle in a sketch book and colored during D&D combat tonight.

I likely will never get tired of drawing these two. I think because it helps me feel less lonely. I can't bring myself to draw Jay's character anymore. Doesn't feel right.

I wish I could find the original artist on Bluesky, I don't want to take credit for their idea that inspired my doodle.

Their picture was of Aerith with her arms behind her back, & Zack standing behind flexing so it looked like she had muscles.

Thought it'd be cute with Mighty and Gina.

The topic of the bridal/princess carry came up in a group chat... Mighty's always carrying Gina in my stories xD she thought it time to change it up.

((Mighty isnt heavy. Gina is just physically weak lol))

She tries to avoid confrontation, and it is a purposeful flaw to her character that she does "bow down" to others or doesnt retaliate against them because she doesnt want to hurt them. She will stand up for herself if pushed to far.

But she is afraid of losing others because of her actions.

But where she lacks the fighting strength, she shows her strength through kindness, through empathy. Through her willingness to sacrifice her own well being, if it means that her friends and loved ones do not have to be hurt or suffer.

No, she can't fight. She wouldn't fight. Gina couldn't bring harm to anyone. She is a life-weaver. Bringing harm to another goes against her very core being.

No, she isnt physically strong, she is weak compared to characters like Sonic, Tails, Amy, Mighty, Vector etc..

Yes, she's the "protagonist" in her story...but she's not the main hero. Her story is built around the Archie Chaotix. They are the heroes. She doesnt outshine them, she's meant to support them. To help them. I don't want to have a character who trumps them. She's designed to be supportive.
