So here’s a question for anyone who is a member of the WH press corps to pose at the next briefing.
“How do you feel about being exposed to asbestos and lead on a daily basis after demolition of the East Wing that had no preventative measures taken to contain their release into your workplace?”

Yep, as well as lead. All of that is picked up on clothing and shoes. Some of the staffers have young kids, whose parents’ bad decisions are likely to poison them, especially if the kids are brought into the workplace. The whole place is now a toxic dump literally as well as figuratively.

I’m going to remind anyone who is turning 73 this year, next year, or who is already >73 that if you have to take an RMD and can spare some $, you can have withdrawals sent directly to a charity and pay no taxes on the amount donated. Did this; am going to do so $ goes directly to feed people.

And I will add I’ve not gotten *anything* from El-Sayad. He’s a good candidate, but again has not been doing campaigning throughout the state to the extent McMorrow has.

There is a competitive primary but I wouldn’t call it messy at least not at the moment.

We’ll see. Stevens is a known quantity to them. My guess is Stevens is just sticking to one area of the state (near Detroit) and that won’t cut it. I’m mid-state area. I’ve gotten maybe one mailing from her, no emails. I’m on *all* the donor lists. McMorrow is doing the work.

It’s BS. McMorrow is going everywhere in the state doing a “brewery tour” meeting folks who were Trumpers and she’s doing well. Yes, there’s going to be a primary, but her competition isn’t doing anything like it.

That’s a trick they’re using now. My district rep has done this. You sign up ahead of time but they don’t send the number ahead of time. Then as the “town hall” is about to begin, you get these phone calls from a number your phone doesn’t recognize and you”re lucky if you read the voicemail on time.
