From henceforth, let it be known that my fingers consider the letters i and o to be interchangeable. Lived probably means loved, and if may well be of. Use context clues to figure it iut because I’m getting dang tored if cirrecting ot.

Bean sez, “Can I live here at Grandpa’s where there aren’t any dogs chasing me?” Our dogs are boarded while we’re here. Too rambunctious for grandpa’s house. #caturday

Looking at a cookbook my aunt brought over and marveling to remember that recipe directions used to be just a few sentences. Now, if I want to print a recipe from the internet, it takes 3 sheets of printer paper.

Um…maybe building an economy on planned obsolescence wasn’t such a good idea? 🤔 Sure, let’s blame consumers for “device hoarding” instead of applauding financial prodence. www.cnbc.com/amp/2025/11/...
Americans are holding onto devices longer than ever and it's costing the economy
Americans are holding onto devices longer than ever before, and while it may be consumer smart, it comes at a cost to work productivity and the U.S. economy.

I made a turkey breast with herb butter, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans almondine, roasted balsamic root vegetables, and homemade cranberry sauce. Store-bought rolls. There’s pumpkin spice cake and a chocolate cake for dessert. Only 3 of us this year, but we are 3 thankful people.

I just introduced my 89-year-old dad to the WKRP turkey drop so he would understand “As God is my witness…!” 😂 youtu.be/BGFtV6-ALoQ?...

There’s starting to be a theme emerging in fragrances I like - fig. Jo Malone Fig and Lotus Flower, The Now by Sarah Horowitz, and today’s sample of Veritas by Memoize London. Veritas is not as light as the first two, but they all have a note I’m drawn to that seems unique. Gotta be the fig.

Just wondering if anybody finds it possible to make a bundt cake without replaying the whole scene from My Big Fat Greek Wedding in their head?

Got some fragrance samples in the mail today. I really liked The Now by Sarah Horowitz. Fresh, clean, slightly green, musky. But, dang, it disappears in no time flat leaving only a faint musk. Might experiment with putting some vaseline underneath it to see if it prolongs the scent. Score 9

Fragrance diary: Last night, I wore my sample of YSL Libre to a friendsgiving. It’s one of 2 florals I’ve found I like. Seems to have mass appeal which is good ‘cause it’s a bit strong. It’s a little sweeter/heavier than I’d want in warm weather, but I’d get a travel size for sure. Score of 9.

My local Kroger has this. I’m supposed to take deviled eggs to a friendsgiving. Should I show up with this and let them think I don’t also have the eggs? 😁

Next up in my fragrance reports: the Salt & Stone santal/vetiver and the bergamot/hinoki. When I smelled these at Sephora, I loved them both and ordered (because store only had testers) a small size of the body lotion and fragrance mist in both. I’ve worn each on 2 days. I like the santal/vetiver

How awful. This is outright health disinformation, lying to the American people. Not only is there massive evidence showing no link between vaccines & autism, there’s not even a plausible mechanism based on what we’ve learned about the genetics of autism, some environmental exposures in pregnancy
HEADS UP: CDC website now officially asserts that vaccines may cause autism.“Studies supporting a link have been ignored by health authorities.” Also says the “vaccines do not cause autism” header remains b/c of an agreement with Cassidy.

We’ve changed vets recently because the previous one retired, and I’m loving this place. They ask you to stay in the car and call to say you’ve arrived, then they call when there’s an exam room ready. Kia’s getting her yearly.
