Wendy Gadzuk transcends her shadowbox era with these embellished antique bottles, adorned with talismans, trinkets, and charms. They radiate with beautiful energy!

Love Languages closes July 6.
This assemblage bottle sculpture seems to tower over the viewer. It appears to be dripping in tactile ornate objects like chains, beads, and refined stones. The color palette is dreamy and pale, yet warm and alive. It sits on a transparent glass ruff, which draws the eye upward and outward, as if the object weighs it down. This gives the viewer the sense that time is frozen, or perhaps that it is fluid.
Squirrel shaped like banjo? Banjo shaped like squirrel? Don't question it. Just enjoy.

Squirrel Banjo sculpture by Stephanie Brockway. On exhibit through July 6.
A wood-carved sculpture of a squirrel banjo. The face of the banjo is a rather concerned-looking squirrel, and the cavity is a red acorn which the squirrel covets.
Charmed & Dangerous indeed...closing July sssixth

Snake assemblage sculpture created by Alea Bone with found materials.
An arm holds a roughly 2-foot long snake sculpture in mid-air. The snake is shaped as if it is in motion, winding. It is comprised of various differently textured and colored antique metals, many with ornate detailing.
Be sure to wear your safety protection goggles when riding with artist Stephanie Brockway's special, fast, muscle car drivin' fellow. They like to show off, as you can see, and the ride might get wild.

Charmed & Dangerous closes July 6.
Oblong shoe-shaped pink car with four antique wheels. The driver appears to be buried inside the car or perhaps is one with the car, with just their head visible. They have creamy pale skin, a short brunette haircut, a red-lipped half-smile, and a hopeful look in their eyes. They wear a small bronze cowboy hat and a red and white checkered bowtie. The front of the car is adorned with a gold chain with dice charms and a plaque akin to a license plate which reads, "SPECIAL." Scratched into the pink paint on the body of the car, we see the words "speed," "muscle car," "zoom-zoom," "fast," and "faster." A golden hood ornament depicting a hand holding a spread of playing cards also adorns the car.
The rumors are true... Artist Alea Bone's glimmering treasures from trash remind us that there is beauty in everything. Charmed & Dangerous closes July 6.
A diving swallow bird sculpture is comprised of flat, textured metal remnants from various antique objects. Each piece of metal has its own personality, with delicate detail and varying tones of silver and gold. Some pieces show text which indicates that they were cookie tins and make-up kits. A piece of metal on the forefront wing reads "BEST," and the bird's back is adorned with a colorful vintage illustration of a girl child in red and white frock with blue bow tied at the waist, and a frilly white bonnet. She is dumping out a box of what appears to be flower bulbs. The wing next to her is embossed with perforations which form a heart shape and radiate outward.

Craig LaRotonda's monkeys are so much more relatable than you might think.

Primal Odyssey closes July 6. Don't miss the chance to see yourself reflected in these heartbreaking chimp eyes.
In the dramatic chiaroscuro style of a religious Renaissance painting, a crestfallen chimpanzee touches their fingers together delicately in thought. A tiny abducting UFO seems to appear magically in a dark chamber within the chimp's luxurious draping red velvet robes with an ornate yet modest collar. The ghost of a halo rests over the chimp's head, with an image of a chimp skull surrounded by vines. Flaking, aging gold leaf shines behind the chimp's head, and a bright, almost blood-like red frames the sides of the painting.
Wendy Gadzuk's Love Languages closes on July 6. Now is the perfect time to come see, but be warned...you are liable to get lost in the poetic detail of these assemblage works...

Who are they? Come find out for yourself before Sea Monster's Pony Rides closes on July 6...

There is something so special about assemblage art. The folk nature of the medium. The inherit political statement about creating art out of refuse. Additional layers Wendy Gadzuk puts forth about fellowship, purpose and oppression brings her work to another level. #folkart #art

Many of her works include nostalgic figures like Carebears, He-man, Trigger the Horse. Items that resemble a childhood filled with TV, yard sales and harmless vice.

the details in her artwork have incredibly heart-nudging stories about insecurities and acceptance, nostalgia and sentimental perspectives.

She got started being known for baby faced knees as she responded to her feelings towards wrinkly and pudgy knees. By accepting them and making them cartoony

You are welcome to bring your own materials, but we have some of our own to share.

This is an all ages workshop but all children and high support/needs folk must have parents/guardians supervision because sharps are in easy reach.

Space is first come first serve. #art #collage #freeevent
The cost of doing business can sometimes lead to a lot of paper and cardboard refuse. We took a look around and decided to start finding ways to use it instead of tossing it.

So now and from out we will be offering a free to the public monthly collage class every third Sunday.
