Having depression is like wearing heavy weights all the time (picture Meg with ball and chains attached at each wrist) It makes everything harder, getting up, eating, working (Meg does those actions, with the ball and chains attached) You wonder why you can’t just remove the weights. But that’s not how it works. So instead I have to be patient with myself, as I work on shrinking these weights. One day at a time (the weight Meg has on are now smaller but still there)
