I wanted to try knitting my own insertion lace (I have crocheted and tatted insertion lace for myself before but never knitted). It’s fun! I think I probably should’ve used 1,5/1,75mm needles but I don’t have any atm 🤷🏻♀️ Using polyester thread size 50 and 2mm needles to practice #lace #laceknitting

It’s slowly growing. I have to say that the only proper lace (with lace weight yarn I mean) I’ve knitted has been shawls. Knitting lace in the round is quite different. After de CO nightmare of dealing with 600+ sts, you find a nice rhythm and it’s really mindful and relaxing #laceknitting #knitting
