And call me weird. This is something that I specifically see in their drawings. I am not saying that there aren't artists from other places in the world that can do it as well, it's just a case of seeing it more often there. In comic and here on bsky.

I can't help but feel that a lot of Japanese (manga) artists have a certain quality to their lines which I just can't help but adore. Very dynamic and the daring to leave white space. The art of NOT drawing the line. precision and the look of "effortlessness" almost like a sketch (1/2)

I think it is funny that it is considered one of the "smaller" conventions considering the artist alley fills one full expo hall. Before my break in art this would have been considered huge 😂
