Just read the email. The leak includes bank details which I would have liked to have known about before now (which isn’t intended to downplay the seriousness of other personal data leaked).

I’m having a day in, playing LPs that I haven’t played for years. I have to say that this is even better than I remembered. I think we might hear more from this young man.

Glad that's finally done. I hope the recovery phase is quick (and smooth).

So, if you’re in Edinburgh and have a space that has been waiting for a vintage Firestone tyres pop-up, your day has come at last.

There were also several copies of this one. Not anything like as beautiful but still interesting and still in the original packaging, so good condition. Problem now is - what do I do with them? Doesn’t seem right to chuck them out.

Having some work done on the house and opened up a bit of the eaves space that has been closed up for 50 years. Found this beautiful old advert. It was a cardboard pop-up and unfortunately disintegrating but what about those colours?

Sure. They have a policy of banning the use of animals in medical research. The overwhelming scientific consensus is that animal research remains essential for medical progress.

Love that album. Lazarus is … well, I’m struggling to think of anything to compare it with. Solid Air maybe, despite not sounding anything like it?

I see one several times a day and I’m still not bored with it. So post away, I say.

I hope you’re going to be kind to him.

Great interview that omits what would have been my no. 1 question: “Was playing Zhukov as much fun as it looks?”

@ambroseparry.bsky.social Spent a happy weekend reading the Death of Shame. No spoilers, obviously, however I think it will be ok to say that the final sentence of the historical note at the end is definitely Brookmyre-esque.

At the risk of making sweeping generalisations, if Reform can’t win in Larkhall, I’m not sure they can win anywhere in Scotland (through FPTP anyway).

Saturday afternoon listening. British jazz is yet another thing that is marvellous and that I know next to nothing about.

Wow. Ok, no spoilers for anyone listening in, but … I’d had the basement pegged as a sort of Slough House-a-like. That shot of it right at the end though was like something by Peter Greenaway. These people are ambitious.
