A guide to "Come back Wrong," an upper YA horror-fantasy

PITCH: In an enchanted rural town, four siblings hold a magic ritual to summon their missing sister, who went no-contact and vanished four years prior. Their summoning spell contains a single command: come back. But when a monstrous creature begins killing town residents in the dead of night, the siblings are forced to reckon with the possibility that their beloved sister may have returned to the nest in the most horrific way possible - and it's up to them to make it right.

The Pitch:

Downtrodden waitress, Cera accepts the invitation, but is quickly deflated when she’s paired with the cocky and entitled Ryde. The show takes a dark turn when a fellow contestant is killed after being eliminated, forcing Cera and Ryde to fight for their happily ever after—and to make it out alive.

As I write, I’m really leaning on beta readers. I sent the first two chapters of Summer’s Sword to friends who gave me tremendous feedback! These people ranged from avid fantasy readers to romance readers to casual readers. Their input thus far has been beyond helpful!
