I was laid off from my job a few weeks ago, and my main takeaway at the moment is that I think stores should be obligated to give you one free little treat per day if you're unemployed. It doesn't have to be big. I'll take a small black coffee or something. Just anything would be nice tbh.
We've been denied financial aid, and the surgery is not being considered "emergent" thus no bypassing pre-payment. Which means we HAVE to pay on the date of surgery, which is later this month.
