The 2025 O’Czytani Polish Literary Festival, wrapped up on 8 June. The festival, in its fifth edition this year, was the first to expand its reach outside the Polish community in Ireland, offering main events in English translation.

Mícheál Hoyne (Department of Irish and Celtic Languages) was recently on BBC Radio Ulster with Dáithí Ó Muirí, discussing the Book of Leinster (Leabhar Laighean), one of the most important surviving medieval manuscripts written in Old and Middle Irish.

Ireland's only Polish literary festival, the O'Czytani Festival takes place in Dublin between 6-8 June. O’Czytani is a celebration of Polish literature, culture, and community.
