"Older adults with the fewest financial resources die nine years earlier, on average, than those with the greatest wealth, according to a report by the National Council on Aging (NCOA) and the LeadingAge LTSS Center at the University of Massachusetts Boston."

Murray: I talked to a family that’s paying about $300 a month for their health insurance. It’s going to jump to over $1,800 per month.

Many people will turn away and not pay for it—obviously, they’ll lose their health insurance. The fewer people who have insurance, the more everybody pays.

We have an emergency of lack of affordable housing. The other day we drove past a new development whose sign said starting in the $1 millions!!!

Oregon AG Rayfield: The first thing that might’ve told you the federal government wasn’t doing so hot was when they started off some of their arguments by talking about Truth Social as their source of facts.

Actually got a comment from the judge: “Is this really how you’re going to move forward?”

Not my main reason, but a good one. Emphasis on "doesn't even matter ... is correct or not."

My main reason is there is no accounting for the people who's income will be displaced by big businesses using AI to cut headcount.

The main reason I don’t use “big tech” LLMs is that they’re primarily optimized to please you and be submissive to you—because this is what’s driving engagement and retention.

It doesn’t even matter if the palaver it generates is correct or not.

It feels like watching Fox News.

We need not point out that a president posting a video depicting his opponents as prey for the Grim Reaper and zombies outside the ‘unemployment office’ is the opposite of what we expect in a healthy democracy.

Trump just posted an AI-generated video depicting Russ Vought as the grim reaper, set to Don't Fear the Reaper

I've said it before, but it bears repeating.

Republicans are willing to kill us to give billionaires a tax cut.
