Honestly as someone having responsibilities and commitments offline and outside of furry spaces, I just don't see how I'll ever be able to attend another convention with the way hotels and registration is currently being handled.

Wild idea. I think consumers should be able to opt out of sharing an electric grid with data centers. I had the choice to pay a little extra on my bill to use clean energy years ago.
