This article really hit me. As someone who was once denied entry to the US when I thought I had all my bases covered, I can imagine this happening and am horrified. She wanted to book a flight home and they detained her and she is detained! What is happening? www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/artic...

As a fresh faced lawyer I helped at the UNFCCC COPs supporting small island states in the negotiations. That was the first time I met folks planning to migrate to Canada because of the climate impacts they knew were coming. 15ish years later….
