Yes I experienced this as well. If your work 'illustrated' the idea/concept you were not exploring your work deeply enough. I definitely questioned this at the time.

Messy sketches, figuring out potential new composition ideas. Kids are excited to go back to school, but there is so much newness - new friends, new lessons. Sometimes they seem quite lost. It's amazing to watch confidence grow and to be a support in that growth.
