I took a total break from BlueSky.

Looking down on the spire of St Just in Roseland and towards the tidal creek that the 13th century church sits alongside. To the left are acanthus flowers which grow well in Cornwall. The gardens are planted with semitropical shrubs and trees. There are boats alongside the creek and the hills of the Roseland Peninsular in the distance.

Chapel Stile in the Langdales with the Holy Trinity Church on the side of the rocky fell and the top of a roof with chimney pots.

The fell is covered in autumnal bracken with rocky outcrops. On the left are some branches of silver birch tree. The church is almost in camouflage against the rocks and the chimney pots fit in rather nicely with the backdrop of the bracken.

On my way home from doing a food shop I had to take a photo of this tree with its beautifully coloured leaves. The sun was shining, the sky was bright blue and the ground full of fallen leaves.

If you want a beautiful walk without it being too strenuous I would recommend a walk round Buttermere. Every time I have been there it is absolutely stunning. In my photo there are reflections of the fells, trees, sky with clouds and the fencing in the foreground.

I took this photo from a hill which gave a long distance view of the South Downs. The sky has beautiful cloud formations. There are trees on the left which have lost most of their upper leaves. A lot of the trees around the lake are evergreen.

This was at Frensham ponds a couple of weeks ago. A swan standing at the side of the water on fallen autumn leaves. The water is a beautiful blue with luscious ripples. An oak tree branch hangs down on the left of my photo. There are reflections of the surrounding trees on the water. Then sun is shining and illuminating parts of the swan.
