I haven’t left my house except for dog walks for nine days because I was sick and tonight I’m going to two Christmas parties and it feels wooo! I really love spending time with myself so it hasn’t been hard, but I suppose I could use a few laughs and someone other than my lovely partner’s face.

I’m working late today so I went to Costco at 11 and I certainly will not be going back there before Christmas even if they were giving it away. Wow.

I have to get dressed and out of the house on this dark rainy Saturday to play trivia. It’s a fundraiser for the Dartmouth Community Fridge and I love the gals I’m going with so I will get ready but it’s so hard tonight !

I am feeling this so hard lately.
The older I get, the less I care about holidays and things? Like why buy a bunch of plastic seasonal crap and put in so much effort. I am against consumerism these days and don't want to contribute to landfill core. I just want things to be simple and easy.

I have not turned the heat on at my home, yet I am at the office today and they are pumping it. I am so sweaty.

I never checked the weather, and I was super unprepared this morning. I couldn’t find my scrapers and I used a broom in a sundress, but I’m on my way.

I’ve had a super busy, social weekend and my brother invited my mom up for blue rodeo tonight for her birthday and surprise! The only hours of alone time I could carve out for myself tomorrow is now mom time! Mom is staying at my house, because little brothers who are almost 40 are still brothers.

Not me being 42 and trying to learn to food budget. I already only buy what’s on sale; in season and I shop around, we don’t eat a lot of processed food so how am I supposed to know a reasonable food budget for two six footers who like to eat a lot? Do I include my two dogs who like to eat a lot?

Some of us had a lot of gummies and is working on cleaning and decluttering their basement and found their mom’s craft supplies from when I helped her pack up her house a few months ago and forgot I took. Plus an excellent journal I thrifted today.

Anyways I’m off today and it’s sunny and I feel a bit worked out about life in general so me and the hunny and the dogs are going to go the woods. The woods usually saves me.
