Moving back to the fruit he was slicing, he smiled at both of them. “She’s resting, we’re expecting a son in autumn.”

“Seems I misjudged him.” He hummed, arms tightening the embrace around her while he kissed the crown of her head very gently.

“Of course I am, honey. I just didn’t think I would again.” He frowned, setting the utensils down and rounding the counter to bring her in for a hug.

“No, of course not. I just wasn’t expecting you.” He responded cautiously.

“Are you hungry?”

Looking up from the meal he was making, his expression was one of surprise at seeing her here. “Indeed.”

He certainly wasn’t expecting her to visit, after the last time he’d tried to see her. But he did miss her.

Coming down the stairs with his younger daughter in his arms, he set her down in her high chair before he went to make her some lunch.

Sighing, he tenderly rested a hand on her shoulder. “You can’t just throw me away, i raised you and everything I’ve done has only ever been for your benefit . .”

Promised? All that creep ever saw her as was a way to make money, he was never going to make her famous.

She has always made time for him, they doesn’t have to change.

She can give him a few minutes, at least.

What a surprise he’s actually on board with this, if he’d even once asked Alexandria about her time at that hellhole, she would have NOTHING but complaints.
