The situation where a party can flood the Lords by appointing some desk Jockey a peer is NOT a way to run a government. Peers appointed by popular vote or some other fair was would be a vast improvement#

Christianity has caused more death; wars and robbery than ANY other factor I can think of, Islam second maybe.
