I think I understand why Paper Mario TTYD is so beloved. Every story beat I've come across never felt dull. There's surprisingly some well thought out lore for why you're visiting an area and the characters you meet there.

My friend came back from Japan and got me those Nintendo controller keychains. He was lucky we didn't get any dupes.

It's fascinating that Mario has a decent amount of RPG games. I can't think of any other series that has this many spinoffs and strays away from the core gameplay of what it originated from. The closest thing I can think of is Monster Hunter Stories from the mainline games?

I haven't not kept up with Octopath 0 but is this basically the same stories from the mobile game? If so I'll be interested in picking it up. I played a bit of it a couple years ago and thought some of the stories were pretty good.

Was looking at baby books for my brother's new born and it sucks there's so much AI slop out there. Maybe the story was actually written with thought and imagination, but as a creator how can you be creative with one aspect of your book when you're just gonna use AI for the art.

I've never played a Paper Mario game. What's funny is it seemed every major retailer "sold out" before Black Friday. Luckily my local game store had plenty of copies, and even priced it at $30 like other retailers.

My brother was proud to show us the Psyduck plush he won from a claw machine. I had to break it to him and let him know it was a bootleg 😂

Never doing favors that involve long periods of time or are indefinitely. I gotta remember to watch out for myself at the end of the day instead of having someone take advantage of my kindness.

My second attempt at making this french onion chicken pot pie. The crust came out a lot better than last time but I can still improve on it. Just happy it looks presentable lol

Finally managed to beat the Surface final boss in Hades 2 consecutively. I think I can finally finish the game by next week depending on how many more runs are needed.

I take back what I said about Hades 2 being easy. The last two areas on the surface will make you cry. Now I understand why my cousins controller looked like this 😭

I'm not sure if I mentioned this on here, but I don't like getting games as gifts. It's just another thing added to my backlog. I have so many games I haven't finished because of this.

This is a cool detail in Legends Z-A. The 4 Beldum that blocked the elevator actually combined into Metang, instead of them evolving individually.
