Yeah I agree both are still predatory and it still falls to SE being greedy. For a solo account its not as much but for a multiple account like mine the emotes and cosmetics being account bound is shitty.

Friendly reminder that every time you see a cosmetic you want in FFXIV mobile, you have to pay to get jobs beyond your first one, pay for the battle pass if you want to get it at a half decent level because xp gain is horrendously slow otherwise oh and pay to dye things.

I spent 100 USD on Genshin once, lost 50/50 and vow to myself i wont be buying any pulls ever again.

Everytime I hear stories like that I get so fucking pissed like "who are you to dictate someone's life?" At the end of the day those "childish stuff" made this person happy and they are clearly the one making their love miserable.
