Each scenario in Ethemblage introduces players to different ethical considerations related to conservation #technology and other types of interactions between tech, humans, and the rest of nature.
leahgovia.bsky.social
Accompanied by a robotic companion, players visit unique #conservation projects to chat with the Ecolution team and their animal (and plant) stakeholders 🐸🐤

As an #interactivefiction, Ethemblage brings players into the story of a fictional conservation organization, Ecolution, and the ethical dilemmas they face.

Ethemblage's story is based on conversations with researchers and designers working on animal-focused tech, along with a critical analysis of the #naturetech landscape.

Finally sharing one of my favourite things to come out of the PhD! I got to develop Ethemblage, an interactive game about #ethics and nature-focused technology 🤖🌻 You can access the game, its teaching guides, and a feedback survey here: leahgovia.itch.io/ethemblage

First post to say hi and this space will primarily feature research/work-related content. Before any of that appears, enjoy a picture of Piper and a stick she found.
A small white dog lies on its stomach and looks slightly off to the side. The dog's front legs are stretched out in front of her. A short brown stick is held between her front paws.
