Whether you're in the pushing loaded-up strollers through crowds phase or keeping your calm while your teen rolls their eyes and calls you "bruh," just know that I see you and I appreciate the work you're putting in. 3/3

for some reason, our kids insisted on *not* smiling, instead making as big a frown as they could muster. I think they were due for snacks and some shade. It happens. 2/3
Today is Parent Appreciation Day, so I thought I'd share this photo fail from one of our Disney Days when we were in the thick of wrangling our littles. It was our last day, and we kept forgetting to stop for this photo...1/3
Came to Walt Disney World as a wide-eyed 3-year-old clutching my Mickey balloons and an autograph book.
40 years later, I'm likely clutching an iced coffee from Joffrey's. My feet still hurt at the end of a long day, but now I can stay awake through the fireworks.
The magic never fades.
As of today, the TSA no longer requires passengers to remove their shoes at security checkpoints! 🙌✈️
You can now walk through without the awkward sock shuffle (unless flagged for extra screening or lacking a REAL ID).
Just ensure your ID is compliant. Cheers to this travel win! 👏
Located on Bay Lake near Fort Wilderness, it had sandy-bottom lagoons, rope swings, and that iconic barrel bridge. Opened in 1976 and closed permanently in 2001, River Country was pure summer nostalgia. No towering slides or wave machines—just warm water, good vibes, and a whole lot of charm.
Just found a piece of Disney history in an old memory box—my River Country tickets from 1983! 💦🌲✨
Before Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, River Country was Disney World’s very first water park—a rustic, old-fashioned swimming hole with a splash of Disney magic.
Nobody does fireworks like Disney. Nobody.

Not only do they do spectacles in multiple parks each night: Disney is the second largest purchaser of explosive devices second only to the U.S. Department of Defense!

Wishing everyone a safe and fun 4th of July.
Just a few of the prettiest PRIDE displays in the Disney Parks.
