Haha, you could well be right! I think the market is wrong too but 99.9% of the times its a really good indicator. And the margins involved are so small they could change anytime.
Nope, based on punters v punters. A true fair market.
What algorithm? That’s a betting exchange.
I use xG is for betting (a lot!) as it’s just a tool to give you a feel for how good a chance is once a shot on goal occurs.

For me it's not that different to saying “we should have been 2 nil up at HT” or "we didn't deserve to lose that" etc etc. xG just adds context/a number to those things.
Despite yesterday, and despite our wingers, we're still 'only' 6th most likely to go down according to the exchange. #lufc
Absolutely bizarre.
Went to York v Wealdstone today. Never seen clobber like it from the Stones manager. Looked like he’d been shooting a JLS music video. Got spanked 4-0, too.
Yeah, they share their ground with the football club (Leeds U21s play there a lot too!) and it's a decent set up. Seems plenty going on behind the scenes too.
I know absolutely nothing about Rugby (either type!) but plenty of my friends and family are cock-a-hoop about York Knights being in the Super League.

It’s such a weird piece. Nice for Meslier to get a mention though … !
I’m worried it’s turning into an abusive relationship
I absolutely HATE modern / Premier League football. Can you fall out of love with something? #lufc

Just finished the 8th Strike book by Robert Galbraith*. Quite meandering at times, and lots of seperate threads to keep on top of, but another excellent addition to the series.

Does anyone know if Mark Crossley has got any stories about Brian Clough? Would love to hear them.
And hopefully Brentford get thumped today (good start)
Yeah definitely. Then can relax (a bit!) for 2 weeks ... !
Spurs look good. We look spirited. Would I take a draw? Probably. #lufc
Yeah, and you can argue that some/most novels *should* be read more than once - almost seems preposterous that we only read some a single time when their creators have spent thousands and thousands of hours crafting them.
Haha, yes, I save it on my phone for when someones says "so what did you think of X book?" or "I didn't think so and so's latest was as good as their debut, did you?" ... !
Mate, I’m exactly the same. I can be absolutely absorbed in a book but remember none of it after. It used to get me down a wee bit, then I came across this Emerson quote and felt better ... !

“I cannot remember the books I've read any more than the meals I have eaten; even so, they have made me.”
Yeah, that's where I am. Not arsed either way really.
Don't think so. So long as we don't clap him mid game like the Brentford fans did to Mbuemo I'm not arsed!
Watching the Everton v West Ham game, and after very much enjoying the welcome Tyler Adams got back at Elland Road on Saturday, got me thinking about how Summerville's return will go down? Personally I'm not that fussed either way but ... ?
I didn't think that one was a penalty. King seemed to be going down before Martinez made contact. Watching on mute though so could have missed out on some insight!
