Just finished this. My word. An absolutely fucking magnificent, brutal, hopeful, unforgetable, devastating novel that caused a few tears. Up there with the best I've read & definitely the best of 2025. Would highly recommend. (N.B. Some of the subject matter is pretty dark but skilfully dealt with)

Our 11yo son had a grassroots game this morning before heading to Elland Road with his Grandad.
Before he left we reminded him *3* times to make sure he’d packed everything he needed for the #LUFC game… and he still managed to forget his trainers. So my wife drove the 30 mins to drop him some off.

In some ways you've got to admire Daniel Farke. Playing Aarronson at home with a fully fit squad is quite the call. He's like a stubborn old german Oak tree. He doesn't give a fuck and and just will not budge. Until some American fellas in suits come and chop him down about 2 months too late. #lufc

Went to the dentist for the first time in over 16 years today. I was absolute shitting myself and had to meditate in the car beforehand.
