Ultimately you gotta realize that life is kinda scary and doesn't make much sense, and a lot of people will find meaning and solace in some very funny, wild and sometimes unsettling ways, yourself included.
And it's all fine so long as nobody gets armed and that it's all consenting adults.

Surviving High school always was about erasing my own freakish queerness by defining myself against others and pretending i was better, and it carried over to my young adult life to some really toxic degree.

Just a random thought but, growing up, i used to be very snarkish and kind of a jerk toward people with weird kinks until i realized a lot of it was motivated by my own insecurities and desire to define myself in opposition to other groups of people i felt allowed to ostracize.

This Weekend i worked on a small Game project for the Global Game Jam with @djahai.bsky.social, @metaderg.bsky.social and @lucilefournie.bsky.social.

I got to do on a bunch of 2D assets for it.

Research board of a small grey kitten character with different eye colors, fur patterns, clothes and accessories.
Small changes in the character concept range from blue eyes to orange to brown, clothes resembling 1930's pilote caps or working class caps.
The character is meant to hold a tall bubble wand, idea would have it in red wood, plain wood or red metal.

Research board of different 2D assets meant to be used as obstacle for the character. Different rocks, flowers and bushes are displayed to give a sense of size compared to the main character.
The style is meant to evoke old 50's animation show like Warner but using a more modern, line less color palette with limited range aiming at yellows, oranges and warm green.
You can pretty much combine each assets with one another to create different patterns or blocks of objects to add variety with little effort and time.
