Leeds is full of quiet moments that change lives.
A volunteer walking someone to an appointment.
A community café where neighbours stop to chat.

These small acts hold the same weight as big strategies. They keep the city moving forward together.

In response to the comments by US President Trump on autism and pain relief medicines, we have made a statement.

As a charity working with hundreds of #ActuallyAutistic adults and having over 20% of staff who are autistic, we aim to help autistic adults by reducing barriers and promoting equality.
The Advonet Group

US President Donald Trump’s recent comments about the “causes” of autism spread harmful myths. Autism is not caused by vaccines or pain relief medicines.
These claims distract from what matters most - improving the lives of autistic people through better support, inclusion and understanding.
Research should focus on reducing barriers and promoting equality, not chasing myths.
