Guess I haven't done one of those intro posts everyone's doing now, so here goes. I used to make comics many years ago before becoming a full time greeting card artist. I also have a youtube channel about horror movies, four kids, and live on a small farm with chickens and furry cows.
My son has finally started reading The Hobbit, so I'm also doing a re-read, and I am in Dad heaven.

1. A Democrat Hoax
2. That mainly implicates Dems.
3. It should be released.
4. But not unless Trump is forced.
5. Because he knew nothing about sex trafficking.
6. Except they stopped being friends because Epstein's a sicko.

On this day in 1911, John Jordan "Buck" O'Neil was born in Carabelle, FL. It's hard to say whether I've ever seen a better ambassador for the game (especially the Negro Leagues) in my lifetime, though I doubt it. Here's a color study of the man with the Kansas City Monarchs in 1948.

Happy Birthday to Buck O'Neil. This is a shirt I designed back in 2006 or 2007 when there were a lot of Negro League players on the ballot, and we were trying to build momentum for his candidacy. It's a real shame he wasn't elected in his lifetime.

I don’t know if any moment in a song destroys me as much as the last breath kurt takes before the final line in Where Did You Sleep. It’s such a raw visceral performance, and that last breath can’t help but remind me of all the ones he didn’t get to take.

This is legit great advice.
The first page of a sketchbook can be a bit daunting, even for experienced sketchers. So what I do is start on page 2. I can always come back later and do a knockout first page. open.substack.com/pub/jamesgur...
