Let’s Go Hawks!

That was great

The Hawks battled but you can’t let a team shoot 71% from 3, 57% from the field and get outrebounded by 16 and expect to win. They got a few days before UW but they need to get some things ironed out

Just used to more lol
February 6, 2026 at 1:49 AM
I think she’s gotten tired of being pushed around all night
February 6, 2026 at 1:45 AM
Iowa has struggled with size all year. ISU, UCLA, USC, Baylor and UM. That’s really the formula to beat this Iowa team. You combine that Minnesota size with their shooting tonight , it’s a tough night for the Hawks. Hawks just need to get it figured out before the UW game as they have size.

It looked like a foul
February 6, 2026 at 1:39 AM
People need to quit using McCabe being out as a crutch. Psychologically it hurts. But If she plays, they still don’t beat USC or UCLA, and the way Minnesota is playing tonight they don’t beat Minnesota. The Hawks just aren’t playing well but there’s enough talent on this team to get it figured out
February 6, 2026 at 1:34 AM
Oof. Not looking like a very good team right now.
February 6, 2026 at 1:24 AM
Minnesota is shooting 57% from the field, 80% from 3 and is out rebounding the Hawks by 13. This is not a fluke and there’s a reason Minnesota is net 10.
February 6, 2026 at 1:11 AM
They were not intimidated by playing Iowa in Iowa city. You can tell they thought they were the better team.
February 6, 2026 at 1:05 AM
It’s games like this where the Hawks are missing ERod. Her size and ability to create her own shots. The Hawks are just so undersized in the middle. USC exploited it. UCLA exploited it. And now Minnesota is. And these aren’t the first games of the year where this has happened.
February 6, 2026 at 12:58 AM
Minnesota is good. I think you’re seeing Minnesota is a little underrated and Iowa is a little overrated.
February 6, 2026 at 12:42 AM
They’re beating the Hawks by 8 on the boards and shooting over 80% from the 3. That’s gonna win you a lot of basketball games.
February 6, 2026 at 12:40 AM
I hope Hays develops for next year because Ava is so undersized for a post. You’re seeing that with elite teams she’s almost the size of a 4. Iowa getting hammered on the boards.
February 6, 2026 at 12:30 AM
Iowa’s D is not good tonight.
February 6, 2026 at 12:28 AM
I don’t like to feel of this game. As well as Iowa started and are playing, Minnesota’s right there. Their inside game is killing Iowa. If Ava or Hannah get into any foul trouble that could spell doom for the Hawks.
February 6, 2026 at 12:20 AM
Both teams are killing each other in the lane. It’s going to be a game of post play.
February 6, 2026 at 12:15 AM
Hawks need to give up the 2 on the post, especially when Hays is in. Can’t give up wide open 3’s because we double team the post with Hays.
February 6, 2026 at 12:10 AM
I wish he would’ve stayed at Iowa, but don’t blame him one bit for leaving. I hope he has great success at Creighton and beyond.
February 5, 2026 at 3:31 PM
Looking at who’s in front of Iowa it’s hard to argue. Maybe Washington and USC but that’s about it.
February 5, 2026 at 2:16 AM
I may not make it to the tip knowing the NW game will run long.
February 5, 2026 at 1:40 AM
Just horrible for him.
February 5, 2026 at 12:22 AM
Can’t say I’m crazy about the lack of intensity the Hawks came out with. They need to step it up. Oregon is clearly the aggressor so far in second half
February 2, 2026 at 2:17 AM
Nice half on the road. Keep it up and get a W. Ben must be getting more comfortable with Hausen’s D. That shot before half was huge. Got some momentum back.
