What did we learn about #Trump today? We learned his drumming of hatred against nonwhite immigrants is a matter of political convenience. His real hatred, which was made clear today, is for #disabled & #neurodivergent people. Today was just his most overt display of that deep & personal hatred.

Do not count on the administration to keep you informed about #birdflu. The administration won’t say a word until it’s out of control. It may be early to prep now but monitor professional & reliable news services in & outside the US.

I’m sure that getting rid of FEMA will go over well when tornado & hurricane season hits the southwest red states that can’t even afford to fix their own roads. Of course, I expect him to just give those states money that will be largely unmonitored & uncoordinated, another disaster in its own.

GenZ is a generation whose early memories formed after a time that the majority of WWII veterans died. I would not be surprised if the majority of them never spoke to a WWII vet. I’d say that is a large contributor to why the horrors of WWII has faded. It doesn’t seem real anymore to them.

When I was young, #Democrats gave out free barbecue and other goodies at campaign events. Around 2000 they stopped and they started losing. If Democrats want to win, they need to bring back free #barbecue.

Still debating whether I should watch the #Trump press conference today. I mean, the last one & the Black Journalists were disaster to behold … but even then, I think the dude can only go 15 minutes before he’s stuck on repeat.

With more & more public schools adopting their own Pre-K programs, will there be a place for #HeadStart? While the need for Early Head Start is growing, Head Start itself may be losing its relevancy.
