did some drawing, which I barely ever do ..

this ladybug found a screw left by humans, and wants it delivered to their friend up the river!

be scored on delivery time and avoiding collisions :)

it looks like shit rn but I added some stuff to my new boat game project..

I have a fun idea for a really tiny game, but have to experiment more. Maybe I can share more about that idea soon :)

bonus; that's me and my brother in one of the 'bijbootjes' from the ship I grew up on. My parents used it to cross the river to bring us to school and go to work.

when I was a kid I always looked in amazement to some of the more well off kids that got a similar boat from their parents (still do lol).
So this is really cool to me now as an adult!

i recently acquired a new toy; this little rubber boat!!

Living on a boat, it's pretty common to have an extra lil boat like this; in Dutch we call it 'bijbootje', translating to small accompanying boat :)

it's convenient for things like groceries when im not close to shore -

I added details and generously sanded the whole thing. And lastly I applied a wood oil finish :)

especially the textured grip was a pain to make hahah but overall a really fun project :)
