Oooooo. Another new one for me! I will rustle it up. Sounds up my alley 100 percent. 😃

That's one I've heard about and haven't read yet. Sounds like I need to. 👍

There are! He's written a few others. I have the one on character and the one on dialogue. Both are dense with analysis (similar to STORY); both very worthwhile.

Ooooo. I am a McKee fan. I have all of his books and return to them regularly. 👍

But what's this about Palahniuk having a craft novel and my never heard of it before now?! Rectifying immediately.

Seems like one of those I should have heard about before, but I hadn't!

Oooo. 🤩 I'd never heard of that one before. I need that one (and I don't write comics, but I hear you on how the skills would translate!).

She would be a wonderful one, I'd think!

😂 I'm glad I'm not alone! I don't know why I agonize over them as I do.

Which of her books is your favorite? (If I haven't read it, I'll get that one instead! Clearly the cosmos is telling me to read Aimee Bender again.)

Those are really, really good options. (Hard to choose, isn't it?)

Ooo! Wild, as I was just thinking of her recently and went to check what I'd missed of her oeuvre... which prompted me to find The Butterfly Lampshade!

If you could have any author as a writing mentor or teacher, who would you choose and why?
lesliefarnsworth.com
I'm down for that.

I'll even settle for a personal e-mail.

Old school blogs also work.
