Believe it'll be a back 3 on the ball with Frimpong pushing up down the right, Szoboszlai/Jones double pivot, Wirtz at 10 behind Ekitike and Isak. Lots of rotations, though. And off the ball we defend in a 4-4-2 / 4-4-1-1. Could be completely wrong, mind 🤷‍♂️ #LFC

A really interesting, and, dare I say it, exciting lineup. Keen to see how the forwards link up, but I'm mostly keen to see the Jones/Szoboszlai midfield pairing. We've struggled to progress the ball from deeper areas, Curtis and Dom should help rectify that. Off the ball though 🤷‍♂️ come on, reds #LFC

For it to be deemed a successful season, I'd suggest the league and the champions league are the 2 prizes that matter, and the cups can be seen as a bonus in a good season, and a consolation prize in a bad season. If Arsenal keep winning, then the champions league may become the main target

You can talk about the system being wrong all you want (I could go all day on it), but when you miss 3 absolute sitters like we did today (Isak 1v1 first half, Mo and especially Cody second half), you're asking for trouble. The cutting edge of last season certainly hasn't been here this season #LFC

There's still a good season to be had when we get it right. There's too much quality not to, eventually. But losing to United at home, and this awful iteration of United in particular, really smarts. It's only October, lots to fix, but lots of football to be played #LFC

Monumentally awful. No other way of describing it. Slot got it wrong at the start. Claw our way back into the game, only to bin it. Again. Still loads of football to play, and hopefully we'll get it right at some point and still have a successful season. Champions league, maybe our best hope #LFC

Barely recognise us; another poor half of football. United should've been 2 up within the first half hour. That being said, we've had chances to bring it level and we've not taken them. A frustrating 45 to say the least. Attacking the Kop second half, come on #LFC
