of it. The rest is some collection of white nationalists who happen to not be evangelical (rare but existing), bigots and bullies of all stripes (again these are attracted to evangelicalism) and the cultural gop voters who see dems as ontologically evil and single issue voters ie abortion/guns.

It's not their oft repeated smokescreen that he's a darius they're using to their own ends. Rather he is the final evolution and the apex of their worldview. And I could go into that but I doubt anyone wants me to lol. That accounts for about 80% of his support and almost all the most fervent parts

I have a lot of thoughts. And I know it's been examined but I think a lot of the cultural chauvinism of evangelical christianity is at root here. Like I know in 2016 it was common to be confused by the overwhelming support from those quarters to him and I know by now this isn't amazing analysis but

I know its kind of trite to say, especially on no kings day, but they really do think of themselves as kings and dukes and barons and nobility and we're just the serfs who should be grateful that they allow us to have what little they give us.

Sometimes i think about the fact that america has our own would be Kaiser Rudolph from legends of the Galactic heroes and it makes me sad. And then I get even sadder when I remember the man who bewitched half of our population is a dipshit instead of a cunnning political genius and I get sadder.

god, I've done my best to treat people like they have that inherent worth. And it's baffling and alienating to me when people of faith reject this core belief. I won't say I've been perfect in my behavior in this manner; I am, after all, only human. I just wish we had more Matthew 25:40 Christians.
