Tonight's Ghibli movie was The Secret World of Arrietty. Not a Miyazaki film but the vibes were there. Solid 6 out of 10 for me.

Tonight on our Studio Ghibli adventure, we watched The Tale of the Princess Kaguya. While it was visually gorgeous the rest of it was not. I can vibe with the commentary on feminism, but I also feel like I'm reaching to get there. Rating: 3 out of 10, and all 3 are for stunning visuals.

Back on our Studio Ghibli grind. We watched From Up On Poppy Hill tonight. Definitely a moment of weirdness plot wise, but kind of a sleeper hit for me. Rating: 6.5 out of 10.

This week's Studio Ghibli movie was Only Yesterday. We picked it cause it has 100% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. While I enjoyed it, I would not have given it that high of a rathing myself. For me it was like a 7 out of 10.

This week's Studio Ghibli movie was Tales from Earthsea, and I don't know that I liked it very much. 4.5 our of 10.

Tonight we watched the very 1st Studio Ghibli movie, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. You can definitely tell it's an older one, but great story and concept and classic Ghibli soundtrack. 7.5 out of 10.

This is what our snow day looked like. We get another one tomorrow!

Update on Studio Ghibli watch thru. I loved The Cat Returns! Rating 8.5!

It is my unofficial goal this year to watch every Studio Ghibli movie. Weve seen mist of the popular ones but i want to see them all and rank them. So far we've seen:

Porco Rosso - 8
Whisper of the Heart - 7.5
