Theo’s growth as a footballer is incredible. Not just returning from serious long-term injury even better than before, but adding new skills and attributes: captaincy and elite level shithousery #LOFC

Not one, not two, not three…. but TWELVE separate tweets from the Club about the signing of a new CB. This is like that time when Trump deposed Maduro to distract from him being all over the Epstein Files.

Once you stop laughing at this, take a moment to consider that #LOFC are similarly mendacious about our "attendance" numbers
West Ham fan turnout against Nottingham Forest almost half official attendance
West Ham’s official attendance of 62,429 for their 2-1 by Nottingham Forest was almost twice as high as the number of fans who went through the turnstiles

Good interview here from @ntt20.com with Cambridge DoF Mark Bonner on the trials and tribulations of the January window.

No, it's not about #LOFC specifically, but it is a good explanation of why Clubs can't & don't get all their business done early doors
Behind the transfer window: A conversation with Cambridge United's Director of Football, Mark Bonner
January is seen as a turning point, but inside football it is defined by uncertainty. Cambridge United Director of Football Mark Bonner explains why planning can only ever take you so far.

Of all the signings made last summer, this is the one that has defined our season so far the most… talented, expensive, peak years, former glories, started well but now seems like he can’t be arsed just when we most need him #LOFC

From New Years Day.

Cahill at least seems to be gifted with foresight, watching this free kick make the net bulge, even though the ball was still some yards away from the goal.

The state of our crowd after Wimbledon’s third went in really exposed how ridiculous the prospect of us playing every home match in a 30k capacity ground is.
