this is like one of these videos that randomly land in your yt recommendations and afterwards you're like holy shit nice
For Open Path № 2, I talked to @simonwillison.net, @nedbat.com, and five other maintainers to understand the Open Source burnout crisis from their point of view. The dream? Financial support w/o hoops!

You are completely right. AI didn't come from academic efforts 😂

Nah. This is more like us saying during the onset of the WWW "imagine where this could go" and less wooing over individual products. At least I for myself don't care about the vendors.

I don't see an issue. Since when are we talking about marketing?

Starting to think I should put more effort into commit messages because LLMs will actually read them 🤔🥲
May 6, 2025 at 8:28 PM
I have yet to witness that.

Sadly no. I am hardcore on team JS everywhere for so many reasons. Only need to hire for one lang, service boundary "type safety", less possibility for stack bloat, ...

Unless there is a literal requirement to pick rust for perf or python because of niche AI tooling I would always JS everything.

there's your problem 😂

trpc + tanstack query is literally perfect - and llms understand it which is great

you can pick the version

Thanks! This actually looks less like a Sentry specific error and like a problem with something around turbopack + instrumentation.ts + react compiler (?)

I wonder if this goes away when you rip out Sentry but keep the instrumentation.ts file and all of your other settings.
April 14, 2025 at 11:51 AM
The only thing missing for Turbopack + Sentry is sourcemaps. Can you share more of the error?

github.com/actions/runn... @mitsuhiko.at you're gonna like this

Using the masking function in GH actions will leak whetever you're attempting to mask 😂

Describe the bug According to #159, the issue where the add-mask workflow command echoes/leaks the secret was supposed to be fixed, but we still observe it. This was also mentioned on the GitHub fo...

I ran my first half marathon sub 2 hours at the Vienna City Marathon today! July last year I could barely run 5 kilometers without collapsing. It's a goal I set for myself since then and it's so incredibly satisfying to have achieved it.

Vibe coding for backend 👍 Vibe coding for frontend 👎

Somehow validates my longstanding opinion that frontend work requires way more skills than backend work.

No! I am almost still fully rawdogging it. tbh for sdk development it has been very miss every time i tried it so far.

I finally caved and tried vibe-coding with copilot. Holy crap this is insane. I love it.
