Canada & China agree to historic trade deal as Trump actively undermines NATO, the most powerful alliance in the history of humanity, by repeatedly threatening to take Greenland. What a time to be alive folks.
Republicans are trying to scare Trump back to reality as he talks about taking Greenland by any means necessary.

GOP Rep. Don Bacon predicted it would lead to impeachment and calling Trump’s Greenland obsession “the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.”
‘Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard’: Republicans amp up their resistance to Trump’s Greenland push
GOP lawmakers are stepping up their warnings and engaging in diplomacy as the president's threats escalate.

The Roots are headlining this year’s Artscape. Way back in the day, they headlined Tigerfest and in preparation, I bought a couple of their albums to familiarize myself with their music.

Nothing about Trump shocks me anymore. It’s the millions of people that continue to support him despite the undeniable damage he is doing both domestically and abroad that is most troubling.

Devastating game, likely to be remembered as one of the all-time greats in the Ravens / Steelers rivalry. The NFL couldn’t have asked for a better game to end the regular season.

A drop so dramatic that critics are questioning the data! Which I find odd because I don’t recall anyone questioning the data when the murder rate was historically high. Funny how that works.

The Democratic Party has spent the better part of a year dissecting why they’re losing working class America. Here’s an example. How do you leave cannabis reform wide open for Trump & Co? Truly embarrassing.
Breaking News: President Trump signed an executive order to downgrade cannabis from the most restrictive category of drugs, easing research and other restrictions but falling short of legalizing marijuana.
Trump Signs Executive Order to Reclassify Marijuana, Easing Restrictions on the Drug
Marijuana’s classification as one of the most dangerous and habit-forming substances has long drawn criticism.

It’s nice that despite our divisions, we can always count on our leaders to unfiy and inspire us during times of tragedy.

Oh wait. 😐
Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer were murdered. This is how Trump decided to respond.

I can’t say I’m surprised by tonight’s election results, nor am I disappointed.

I am currently applying for a block party permit for my neighborhood.

Application submitted Thursday. Over the weekend I was notified I need to submit payment before the permit is processed.

Sounds fairly straightforward only there is no link to submit payment … 🫠

Trump’s MIND is “so far gone.”

Today while invoking the Home Rule Act in Washington DC, President Trump described Baltimore as “so far gone”. A sitting president should inspire the people they represent, not consistently disparage them.

US stormwater infrastructure is generally designed to handle 10 year storms, meaning larger storms that historically occurred maybe a handful of times each decade.

Through May, Baltimore has recorded 54 homicides, the fewest through the first 5 months of a year on record. The previous low: 65 homicides, in 1977.
At this point in 2022, just three years ago, there had been 138 killings, and in 2017 there had been 146 people killed.

Looking back at my time in City Gov, my contributions towards the City’s efforts to reverse a more than decade long cut to the our annual HUR formula was probably what I am most proud of. It is not hyperbole to say the impact of this policy work will be felt for generations.

I don’t get all the Brandon Hyde hate.

He won manager of the year 2 years ago.
We’ve made the playoffs in consecutive years for the first time since 96/97.

And because his lineup isn’t exactly what some fans want each night he should be fired?

There’s a lot of folks that have contributed to Baltimore’s remarkable reduction in violent crime over the past few years. Our State’s Attorney Ivan Bates is undeniably one of those folks. I’m looking forward to supporting his re-election efforts in 2026.

It’s not just embarrassing, it’s plain wrong. Official government business should not be happening on non-government channels.

The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans
U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.
