For the first time in over two months, I’m not editing.

Seems like a perfect time to start writing my new WIP, don’t you think?

The first draft of Manipulator's War was called Door to Another World. Its archway was engraved stone, but it too stands in a forest, on a trail strewn with leaves, surrounded by moss covered forest giants.

This tree in Ireland reminded me of the one Linh & her friends stumble through in Australia.

Often as a traveller I've appreciated good weather. But there's something moody, broody and atmospheric about clouds. So I was lucky to catch castles and abbey's on both sunny and cloudy ones on my England road trip. Byland Abbey was a great cloudy day.

Yeah, the ruined variety, and while what was left of some wasn't far above ground level, these two were pretty good for crumbling ruins.

Happy dilemma; which sunset over a Norwegian fjord photos do I keep?
Definitely this one 😉. The other 40 will be harder to cull to 10 🤔

Beautiful sunny day in Melbourne today. I wasn't alone in making the most of it; the swans and their signets were out and about too.

Torian birds may have been inspired by when, in my early 20's, I was driving a 2 door Hyundai through a state forest when a pair of wedge tailed eagles soared over my car, their wingspans wider than it's roof. Rarkin's Monster Containment team first encounters them in the Farm Zone.

For anyone interested in a series where the worst monsters are certain humans (like the MC's father 😉), and the main character's day job is relocating stray monsters to their habitat (away from humans 😉), Book 1 of my Sythe Series is out now.

I'm sure my followers know this, but I'll say it just in case it breaks containment.

When the topic is disability; listen to disabled people.

Trans rights? Listen to trans people.

Racism/ xenophobia? Listen to BIPOC.

Women's issue? Listen to women.

Marginalised people KNOW what's best for US.

Footprints in stone
From a march long ago
To destinations unknown

Across horizons now lost
With people long gone
Hunting animals of prehistory
In an age of song

Before time of writing
Or ownership of land
A fraction of humanity
All in wandering bands

Speaking tongues forgotten (1/2 #poem #poetry)

Across wide plains we wandered
Through crumbling cities of stone
Past battlefields of bone

The Wars of Hate had ended
Laws of Sanity undone
The world had died with them
Faster than any could run

So on we walk alone
Seeking forests of myth

True, for prompt responses etiquette is not linking your book in every post because that's spammy (and is why author chats leave promo till the end.

Your best bet there is searching up your title and not giving your book (almost) the same name as 30 others in your genre (yes I have seen that 🙃.)

Bsky doesn't have algorithms suppressing links. There's no reason not to put your book link in the top post of any thread, or to merely say 'link in bio'. Nothing bad happens when you put a book link in your post. All that happens is you spare readers this👇!
Puhlease! Im not hunting it down. Its actually pretty hard to find one particular book out of millions, especially if the title is common (which happens way more than people think) or you have a common name.
WHEN YOU SHARE YOUR BOOK ALWAYS INCLUDE AN ORDER LINK
