I know you shouldn’t judge people by how they look but sometimes our inner selves seep out into our physical ones and I have to say this lot are a pretty unattractive bunch.
This seems huge to me - muzzling the press is straight that out of the ‘how to’ for dictators. I’m surprised that said same news outlets are not making more noise about these new rules to the general public - or maybe I’ve just missed it.
Sadly I think Trump is just the mouthpiece for people even more sinister (I never used to be a conspiracy theorist honest) and when he goes there will be a carefully ‘constructed’ replacement.

I’d love to think that will happen but I believe there is a machine working behind him that will simply put another ‘actor’ in his place and carry on regardless. I truly hope I’m proved wrong.
I didn’t make any reference to getting over anything. What I was saying is that all democratic countries seem to be on the same trajectory. To suggest the UK is not in such a bad place as others is in my opinion, naive and ultimately dangerous.
As a Brit I can’t say that I’ve heard anything that makes Germany seem to be in deeper trouble than the UK. As resources decrease, populations increase, the planet is more ravaged and multi national corporations and unseen players assume greater economic power all democracies are at great risk.
