Did Christmas just come early for us? Because it sure looks like it!

Congrats to Ashle on being our first dedicated full time employee as we begin to celebrate 10 years of our soccer coverage in the Northland.
This morning I resigned from my longtime day job, which means I’m now full time with @northlandsoccer.com. This is an absolute dream that I can do it full time and it wouldn’t be possible without our readers and my spouse.

Keep watch for a new, improved, and larger NSJ coming early 2026!

Today is the Transgender Day of Remembrance and as we do every year we swap our colours to those of the trans flag in honour of those who we’ve lost.

Let’s all make sure to do everything we can to promote love & support of our trans friends and make sure they do not become another statistic.

#WSL Liverpool goalkeeper Rafaela Borggrafe is under investigation for using discriminatory language towards a team mate during a preseason camp with the club. She has been absent but is now eligible to play for the club this weekend. They are pointless from 2 games.

Hat tip to London City Lionesses, who secured their first win in #WSL today. The club are currently part of Michele Kang's organization but they were founded in 2019 as the successor to Millwall Lionesses, whose Championship (now WSL2) license they took.

#WoSo is back underway in England, the first with a fully professional top two tiers. We'll break down the full regulations when they are published, but they are already scary enough to send Blackburn Rovers scuttling back to the amateur ranks despite winning their division last season.
