The results showed no significant differences across messenger types. The unique nature of policing, along with citizens’ perceptions of CRB’s independence, may help explain the null effects.

This study builds on my earlier research on communication for coproduction. We conducted experiments testing whether policy announcements encouraging citizens to coproduce public safety were more effective when delivered by government (PIO), nonprofit (CRB), or both as messengers.

人为什么工作？肯定不是只为了钱。我自己的意见是抓大放小，通过抓大的方面（金钱，外在激励，以及为了自己），把工作的大致做好。同时相信自己和他人都会有小的方面（非物质回报，内在意义，以及为人服务），尽管有的时候没那么明显，但多多少少会有一点。也就是说，相信自己是一普通人，也相信其他的普通人会在工作中和自己差不多的作为。这大体也是我对工作的期待。 #翻书党人札记
