wiping his forehead down and stroking his hair until Fin's able to slip away into a shallow sleep. Sometimes reading beside him some of the old romance stories Fin adored. When Fin is well enough to sit up but not fully get out of bed, Alex will brush his hair and braid it to keep it off his back-

Fin doesn't handle being sick well, usually being the one looking after others. He grumbles and doesn't let people close, apart from Alex. Alex is there, bringing him sweet tea and encouraging him to take small sips-

#tavqotd Does your tav embrace their class, or is it complicated?

Fin is a cleric through and through, he grew up in the Silver Lady's light due to his mother. It's not something he can turn off, it is him.
He is prideful that his magic are his own but bright enough to be noticed by his Goddess.

Mhm! And you're not wrong, because as you said as people we can be inherently lazy and so copying and pasting something might be a step too far from someone to find an artist, and so said artist might lose out of potential customers!

I got told off by an artist (rather rudely) I had commissioned for putting their actual @ because they got spammed by the notifications from the post - admittedly a long time ago on a different site but an old habit I need to break, and I need to try and force myself to do so!

with Meidhreach the Island of Cíonn is heavily inspired by Ireland.
My Mother's father came to this country from Iraq, but my mother wasn't raised with any real knowledge. She visited Iraq once but doesn't remember much. My grandfather passed before I had the chance to ask any questions myself.

Athair to resize their rings to wear on their ring fingers. Proudly wearing on his hands the mix of their cultures and heritage (or at least when he’s off shift, on call he keeps them in a keepsake box given by Alex). Most of my tavs have Irish ties, usually seen within their names.

Modern Fin doesn't speak Irish fluently and being unable to practice often with Calx now he's moved away, is rusty. But teaching Alex has helped bring it back, while he's also attempting to learn Portuguese in return - learning more of Alex's own culture and heritage, and honouring that together.

Modern Fin is basically a love letter to the history I know and the side of myself that I've accepted I never will.
Fin's parents are the opposite of mine; my father came to England young, and visits back now and again. I attempted to learn the language and wear a Claddagh ring myself.

Fin in our modern au is half Irish, growing up in rural England.
His mother is Irish, though having moved to England with her siblings young, she doesn't have much memory - all he knows his through his uncle.
Fin's father is half Iraqi, but having a disconnect to his history, a lot is unknown.

Fin's a massive projection of my own heritage mix esp in our modern AU, with small attempts to reclaim and honour aspects. There is a lot of Irish inspiration, from his name to the language spoken within The North, to his Silver Ring.

I gave my lad Brazilian heritage, including skin colour, height, curly hair, and his mother's pretty body; In modern AU, he also speaks Portuguese. Now married to Fin, he also follows some Irish traditions - they wear a Claddagh ring as a wedding band

Rynn comes from a feline dominate line, and so while they 'can' shift to others, this takes far more energy and feels very unnatural so usually... some form of cat.

The tell tale sign to tell if an animal is Rynn is their cheek and the ear on the same side will still show their scarring - as well as the damage upon a hind leg on the right. All their wildshapes hold that orange and golden colouring with bright green eyes.

Rynn is usually found in their domestic cat form! Small, unthreatening and perfect for laying in the sun.
During times of danger or needing to protect, their true Wild Shape appears, a tiger - but this is so rare that few recognise them at first.
