Hey guys let's write a document about people allegedly supporting abusers with zero evidence.

While I'm not satisifed with SSC, I don't see how this document brings any genuine concerns to light.

It reads as a "hey I was caught talking shit about people and now I'm mad" 😵‍💫

The reference to rewriting was in the context of comp scene documentation & guides, not this conversation.

It's unrealistic to expect an average person to understand the intention if the information is masked behind scholarly & lengthy dialogue.

It has been communicated in threads both on X & Bsky. This is an ongoing issue from Spl2 scene's days. It takes actual crimes (i.e. scamming or doxxing) for anyone to get a serious ban.

I find it backwards to allow players who harm the scene with bigotry to play because we fear a "counter scene" rising up. Smash is often a 1v1 game, while splatoon is 4v4.

The lack of concern for BIPOC & Queer folk is why many comp players including myself are leaving the scene
