I mean, they size things in Juniors sizing, so they assume ppl that wear the items are petite >_<. Lip service/Killstar/Punkrave and any Japanese brand being the biggest culprit

Hyperpop clubs, anything with a Dark Kawaii theme (I/G Gloomy Bear/Kuromi Rave), SceneCore, make me feel alive. People dress up, they dance, have social skills, don't have stix up their bums like Goths do. It reminds me of what early 00's Industrial/Cyber clubs were like, or WGT.

There's nothing Cyber about those spaces anymore.
It's not dance-oriented. Instead of a fun space, with high-nrg that would inspire newer faces to come out and dance, it's a retirement home for Xers and boomers who have given up to the bland beige Americana lifestyle.

The state of Industrial Clubs in Los Angeles:

> The big name club that only plays Futurepop, New Beat (hipster music) and done-to-death EBM
> Gooner clubs with sketchy owners
> Clubs that book 3-4 live bands that take up the entire night, and people stand around, drinking their nasty beer.

I think Millennials and Gen Z should become DJs. Reasons I found a certain Coldwave artist's comments about "the world doesn't need more DJs."

If it weren't for her conservative leanings, I really am inspired by Adora Batbrat. Because so many people cave to the social pressure to be a boring shut-in, once they hit their 30's. I always admired that she was in her 50's, looks amazing, still goes to clubs/parties.

I get mocked for being into KPop or Hyperpop events, but those places have all the whimsy, creativity, enthusiasm, that the goth/industrial retirement home doesn’t anymore. It’s sad. I don’t think things will ever be like early-mid 00s anymore as far as industrial.

There are no Cybergoth clubs anymore. In L.A. the closest thing forces bands every night, so just dudes standing around, chugging beer, or it’s a spank-spank club, crawling with sexpests.
