Voles are commonly misidentified as moles or even “field mice” because of being found in their topsoil and leaf litter dwelling habits. They are primarily grass, seed, fungi, and root eating rodents that often help to contribute to habitat restoration and stability in grasslands and meadows.
Lillie Birds admits squirrels of different species to account for our highest rate of admissions every year. We routinely care for chipmunks, grey squirrels, and southern flying squirrels year round.
